About OhioRISE
OhioRISE (Resilience through Integrated Services and Excellence) is a new Medicaid managed care program for young people with complex behavioral health and multisystem needs. This program provides access to more intensive community-based services and supports using a coordinated approach to care planning. The OhioRISE program will also feature a new 1915(c) Medicaid waiver for families who are not enrolled in Medicaid. The Waiver is intended to help families who are most vulnerable to access the care they need. Eligibility is determined through an assessment called the Ohio Children’s Initiative Child and Adolescent Needs (CANS) tool. See the links below for more information about eligibility and services.
